Cod With Lemon, Garlic, And Chives

• 4 (6 oz.) cod fillets
• 4 tsps. olive oil
• salt and ground black pepper to taste
• 1 bunch fresh chives, coarsely chopped
• 2 lemons, sliced
• 2 cloves garlic, sliced
• Preheat oven to 200 degrees C (400 degrees F).
• Trim 4 big squares of heavy-duty aluminum foil. Use olive oil to brush each
fillet and drizzle with black pepper and salt. Put each fillet in the middle of an
aluminum foil square. Lay lemon slices downward the length of each fillet
and drizzle chives and slices of garlic on top. Fold foil over the fish and flip
the edges over twice to thrice; seal the packets by flattening.
• Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes till the fish becomes easily
flaked using a fork and opaque.
