Crispy Fried Fish

“A crispy and fun dish.”

Ingredients
• 1 egg
• 1 1/2 cups beer
• 1 cup all-purpose flour
• 1 tsp. garlic powder
• 1/2 tsp. salt
• 1/2 tsp. ground black pepper
• 1 lb. cod fillets
• 2 cups crushed cornflake crumbs
• 1 tsp. Cajun seasoning
• 1 quart oil for frying
Direction
• Beat pepper, salt, garlic powder, flour, beer and egg together in a medium
bowl. Put cod in bowl. Coat with mixture thoroughly.
• Mix Cajun seasoning and cornflake crumbs in another medium bowl. Dip
cod into crumb mixture, coating all sides thoroughly.
• In a deep fryer/ big heavy skillet, heat oil to 185 degrees C/365 degrees F.
Fry fish until flesh flakes easily with a fork and is golden brown.
